Delete your account

Applies to New Horizons Developments — list every app with an account · Last updated 19 September 2026

The quickest way is in the app

Open the app, go to Settings → Delete account, and confirm. It takes effect immediately and you do not need to contact us or wait for a reply.

If you have already uninstalled the app, or you cannot sign in, use the form at the bottom of this page instead.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account we remove, permanently and without a recovery option:

Deleted means deleted. We cannot restore an account afterwards, and starting again means starting from the beginning.

What we have to keep, and for how long

WhatHow longWhy
Account and game data Removed from live systems immediately; purged from encrypted backups within 30 days Backups roll on a fixed cycle and cannot be edited individually
Purchase and payment records 6 years Required by UK tax law. Held by Google Play; we keep only the transaction record, never card details
Server logs 30 days Security and abuse investigation
Records of a ban or abuse report set a period, or delete this row if you do not do this To stop a banned account simply being remade

Nothing we retain is used to contact you or to build a profile of you. It sits in accounting and security records and is not touched otherwise.

Requesting it by hand

Use the form below, or email hello@marklandhill.co.uk from the address on the account.

We will confirm within 2 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days, as UK GDPR requires. We may ask you one question to confirm the account is yours — we are not trying to talk you out of it, we are making sure nobody else deletes your account for you.

Request account deletion

Use the email address the account is registered to, or we may not be able to find it.

We use these details only to find your account and carry out the deletion. See the privacy policy.

Questions

Our privacy policy sets out everything we hold and why. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk — though please tell us first so we can put it right.
